Podcasting
Podcasting involves the creation and distribution of digital audio recordings online, accessible for public download. At GUQ, podcasts serve various educational and informational roles, including as innovative assignments in coursework, supplementary materials for scholarly research, and as a platform for disseminating updates about the ongoing work within research groups or centers.
To support podcasting initiatives, GUQ offers dedicated facilities and resources. Media Production Rooms, LD04 or LD07, located in the basement, are soundproof spaces specifically designed for podcast recording. In addition to recording facilities, the Innovation Lab is equipped with audio editing software such as Adobe Audition, allowing users to refine and polish their podcast recordings. These resources enable students, faculty, and staff to create high-quality podcast content for various academic and institutional purposes.
